Petersburg Bureau of Police asking public to identify girl found wandering in the street

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- The Petersburg Bureau of Police is asking for the public's help to identify a young girl who was found wandering on a street in the city.
According to a social media post by police, the young girl was found at around 6 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, while wandering near the intersection of St. Mark Street and High Pearl Street in the city's Delectable Heights area.
Officials provided the photos of the girl below in an effort to assist the public to identify her:
