Petersburg Dental Day aimed at increasing community access to oral health

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- Petersburg Dental Day will be held in late January with a focus on increasing the community's access to oral health.

Petersburg Dental Day will be held at United Smiles Family Dentistry & Orthodontics, in collaboration with Altise M. Street, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 24, according to a social media post by the city of Petersburg.

The dentistry and orthodontics office is located at 34 Medical Park Boulevard East.

According to the city, the event will provide 25 free dental cleanings, exams and treatment plans for adults and children on Medicaid, along with oral health education and resources.

The city said registration remains open to community members until all 25 slots are filled. To register, fill out this online form.

According to organizers, filling out the form does not guarantee an appointment, and registrants will receive a call from United Smiles Family Dentistry to confirm.
