Petersburg National Battlefield to honor 161st anniversary of Battle of the Crater

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- Petersburg National Battlefield is set to commemorate the 161st anniversary of the Battle of the Crater at the end of the month.
There will be a series of free programs and tours honoring the anniversary on Saturday, July 26, including living history demonstrations, ranger-led programs at the battle site and displays.
The programs will run from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The displays will be available from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
