At 4:38 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, the Petersburg Bureau of Police reported that its officers were in the area of Halifax and Custer streets searching for "possible armed subject." Residents in that area are asked to stay inside for their safety. This comes after a theft of a vehicle and weapons in the 1500 block of Halifax Street by multiple male suspects, according to police.
