Photography studio to hold grand reopening in Chesterfield
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A photography studio will hold its grand reopening on June 21, marking the start of a new chapter and bringing in the Chesterfield County community.
The ribbon-cutting for Julie Atlas Photography will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, and is said to "honor the work that has always been at its heart—serving the community with purpose and passion," according to the studio.
In a Thursday release from the studio, Julie Atlas Photography will also launch the 2025 Influentials Project, which invites community members to nominate those who reportedly make a meaningful impact on others.
“None of us makes it in this world alone,” Atlas often said, according to the release.
The studio is also a proud partner of Children’s Home Society of Virginia, and Atlas draws from her own family's faster care history, since her mother and mother-in-law had help from "loving foster families during critical times in their lives," as per the release.
Julie Atlas Photography was founded in 2012 and initially aimed to provide portraits for children in the foster care system. The studio said that now it "serves families seeking high-quality, timeless portraiture, that spirit of service remains central to Julie’s work."
