PHOTOS: Chesterfield garage destroyed by fire, no one injured
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- No one was injured when a fire consumed a detached garage outside of a home in the Chester area of Chesterfield County on Thursday afternoon. According to Chesterfield County Fire and EMS, crews responded to a report of a structure fire on the 13800 block of Happy Hill Road in the Chester area at around 12:09 p.m. on Thursday Oct. 31. When they got to the scene, they found a detached garage "fully involved with fire." The fire was extinguished within 30 minutes of the crews arriving and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
