PHOTOS: Colonial Heights officer jumps into drain to rescue ducklings

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. (WRIC) -- A Colonial Heights officer jumped down into a drain to save several ducklings on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, April 1, Colonial Heights Animal Control took to Facebook to share photos of a heartwarming rescue.

Per officials, Officer Delgado "went above and beyond" on Wednesday when she chose to jump down into a drain to save mallard ducklings that had fallen inside.
