PHOTOS: Controlled burn spreads, burns down sheds in Lunenburg
LUNENBURG COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A controlled burn spread and did significant damage to multiple sheds in Lunenburg County on Sunday.
The evening of Sunday, March 15, Victoria Fire & Rescue -- as well as the Kenbridge Fire Department -- battled a fire that impacted three sheds and a wooded area.
Photos from the scene show what appears to be heavy damage to the involved sheds.

Fire officials said that this incident began as a controlled burn that spread to the woods.

"The burn was after 4 p.m., which is after the burn ban, but be aware of windy conditions even after 4 p.m.," Victoria Fire & Rescue said. "Please do not burn in windy conditions."
Between Feb. 15 and April 30, outdoor burning is prohibited in Virginia between midnight and 4 p.m. within 300 feet of the woods or dry grass.
