PHOTOS: Hanover breaks ground on new Battlefield Park Elementary School

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Hanover County Public Schools (HCPS) broke ground on the new Battlefield Park Elementary School on Tuesday.
Students, HCPS staff, county officials and more gathered at the site where the new Battlefield Park Elementary School will take shape on Tuesday, March 18 for a groundbreaking ceremony.
The school division called the day "historic," sharing photos of the joy and celebration the community shared during Tuesday's festivities.
"We can't wait to see the progress in the coming months," HCPS said.
