PHOTOS: Henry Winkler, Lin Oliver make two stops in Richmond on book tour
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Actor Henry Winkler and children's book author Lin Oliver made two stops in Richmond on Thursday as a part of their new book tour. Earlier in the day on Thursday, Oct. 17, Winkler and Oliver stopped by Watkins Elementary School in Chesterfield County to talk about "Detective Duck #2: The Case of the Missing Tadpole," their second book in the children's series. Ryan Recital Hall at St. Christopher's school on Thursday, to give a talk about the book, answer some audience questions and sign books. 8News got the chance to ask Winkler about what he has learned from kids while doing the tour and working on these books with Oliver. "I'll tell you, one of the greatest things that we have heard from children is 'how do you know me so well?' and [it's] because we write from our true experience, we write from our life and it is one of the greatest compliments I've ever received," Winkler said.
