PHOTOS: Hopewell’s 2024 Downtown Holiday Festival

HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) -- Hopewell hosted their 2024 Downtown Holiday Festival on Sunday, featuring free photos with Santa, train rides and more. The festival took place on Sunday, Dec. 8 starting at 6 p.m., directly following Hopewell's holiday parade. Local residents had the chance to experience free photos with Santa, rides on trains and horse and carriages, as well as a petting zoo and bouncy house. 8News spoke with Tia and Tyrone Goode, owners of Breedlove's Seafood RVA, about what it means to be involved with an event like this. "It feels so amazing," Tia Goode said. "We love giving back, that is part of our duties, to give back -- especially to the community. So we love serving our communities." The mobile seafood truck has been in her family for over 40 years. HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) -- Hopewell hosted their 2024 Downtown Holiday Festival on Sunday, featuring free photos with Santa, train rides and more.

The festival took place on Sunday, Dec. 8 starting at 6 p.m., directly following Hopewell's holiday parade.
