PHOTOS: No one injured after fire breaks out at Chesterfield Police precinct
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — No one was injured after smoke was seen coming out of a Chesterfield Police precinct early Sunday morning.
At around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8, crews with Chesterfield County Fire and EMS responded to a fire at a police precinct located at 20 North Providence Road.
Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke coming from the roofline of the building. Officials said they discovered a small fire in the ceiling.

Crews marked the fire under control within 15 minutes. No officers were in the building when the fire broke out.
There were no reported injuries. Officials continue to investigate the cause of the fire.
