RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Dozens of people arrived at their local Gelati Celesti in their PJs to enjoy ice cream and a free donut for National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day on Saturday. From 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 1, Gelati Celesti offered exclusive breakfast-inspired flavors for National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, with those who attended a shop in their PJs receiving a free donut with any purchase. "It's just a great way to start your day with ice cream and a donut," Clark said. Clark said Gelati Celesti has been doing the National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day event for at least seven years. "It's just become an annual tradition and people seem to love it," Clark said. "They come out in their pajamas with their families and everybody is so excited to eat ice cream for breakfast and to get a free donut."
