PHOTOS: Stormy weather, resulting damage in Central Virginia
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Central Virginia was hit with a wave of severe weather Friday evening, with scattered thunderstorms causing damage in various parts of the area.
On Friday, June 6, severe thunderstorms hit localities throughout Central Virginia -- with Prince Edward County among those that were hit the hardest, per StormTracker8 chief meteorologist Matt DiNardo.
These storms took down trees and damaged power lines, causing outages.
