PHOTOS: VCU Health celebrates first babies of 2026
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Rather than "ring" in the new year, Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Health chose to "bring" new life into the world this New Year's Day.
On Thursday, Jan. 1, labor and delivery staff at VCU Health's Richmond hospital worked to safely deliver the first babies of 2026.
VCU Health then shared photos of these precious little ones on Facebook to celebrate.
