Pocahontas State Park to host hike beneath March’s Worm Moon

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Pocahontas State Park will host a ranger-led hike beneath March's full moon, called the Worm Moon, Friday evening.

The hike will span from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, March 14, with the group meeting at the park's CCC field.

Along the way, attendees will learn why March's full moon is called the Worm Moon while listening for nocturnal critters.
