Police: $7,000 trailer stolen in Chesterfield, suspect search continues
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Chesterfield County Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in finding two suspects involved in the theft of a trailer valued at roughly $7,000.
The theft reportedly occurred at 3501 Meadowdale Blvd. on Thursday, June 26. According to police, a Black male suspect was caught on surveillance video attaching the trailer -- which had the Virginia tag "102-562T/M" -- to a GMC truck and driving away.
At the time of the theft, another suspect, described as a Hispanic female, was also at the scene driving a maroon Chevrolet SUV with the Virginia license plate, "UTD-1843."
According to police, the trailer was recently spotted without a license plate being used by a tan GMC vehicle with an expired temporary tag, "B14305."
