Police search for person of interest involved in alleged armed robbery of Henrico business

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Police are searching for a person of interest involved in an alleged armed robbery of a Henrico County business in early August.

At about 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3, officers with the Henrico County Police Division responded to the 4300 block of Nine Mile Road, for a reported armed robbery that took place overnight.

According to police, officers spoke with the caller, who said two masked men entered the business armed with guns and pistol-whipped an employee.

Investigators identified one of the individuals, though another person of interest is still unidentified, police said.

The man -- caught on camera -- can be seen wearing a blue hat and, black hooded sweatshirt with white and blue shoes.
