Powhatan’s Festival of the Grape: Wines, ciders and more
POWHATAN COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The 22nd annual Powhatan Festival of the Grape will return this fall with wines, ciders and more.
People can come out to Historic Courthouse Village located at 3860 Old Buckingham Road from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, to enjoy the wines, ciders, beers, meads and other spirits Virginia has to offer.
There will also be over 100 artisan and food vendors, as well as live music all day. Event organizers said the festival will take place rain or shine.
“Each year, this festival is a celebration not just of wine, but of everything that makes Powhatan special," said Nicole Riley, Executive Director of the Powhatan Chamber of Commerce. "This year, we’re feelin’ 22 — and proud to showcase Virginia’s incredible wineries while giving back to our community."
