President Trump adds Hung Cao to administration
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- President Donald Trump added Hung Cao (R) to his administration on Thursday, according to an announcement on social media.
"I am pleased to announce that Hung Cao will be our next United States Under Secretary of the Navy," Trump said in the announcement on Truth Social.
Trump applauded Cao for his service as a captain in the Navy.
"Hung served in combat as a Special Operations Officer for twenty five years," Trump said. "With Hung’s experience both in combat, and in the Pentagon, he will get the job done."

Cao lost to State Sen. Tim Kaine (D) in the Virginia U.S. Senate race in last year's General Election.
