Quirk Hotel to host May Day flower market

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Quirk Hotel in Downtown Richmond will be hosting May Day next week with a flower market, local art work and more.

May Day will be held on Thursday, May 1 from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Quirk Hotel located at 201 West Broad Street. The plant-themed event is being held to celebrate Historic Garden Week as well as Virginia's spring blooms.

The hotel's lobby will be transformed into a flower market with local artwork featuring botanical themes as well as local vendors with cocktails, treats and plants. Featured vendors will include Sneed's Nursery, Blackwell Botanicals and more.
