RACC shares story of rescue rooster with new duck friend
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC) recently shared a story of a rescue rooster who has made a new duck friend. According to a post from RACC, after working with Virginia State Police (VSP) on a cockfighting situation there were 11 roosters in their care for several weeks. After two birds were given the chance to be fostered by trusted farm friends, they were slowly introduced to other birds again. Both birds have since successfully integrated, and one of the roosters has even become friends with a duck!
