Richmond Animal Care and Control in need of dog, cat fosters for Thanksgiving holiday
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC) is looking for families to foster a furry friend through the Thanksgiving holiday. According to RACC, the shelter is looking for families that will be home for the Thanksgiving holiday to foster a dog or cat from Sunday, Nov. 24, through Friday, Dec. 6. RACC said it currently has about 10 to 15 dogs that need to be the only pets in a home. The shelter will provide all the supplies needed for hosts to care for their fostered dog or cat. According to RACC, those who plan to be failed fosters and keep their furry guest will get the first pick of the animals. Fosters will begin to be placed on Sunday, Nov. 24.
