Richmond closing northbound Arthur Ashe Boulevard nightly for 2 weeks
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Drivers in Richmond's Scott's Addition neighborhood are asked to be prepared for a two-week closure affecting the northbound lanes of North Arthur Ashe Boulevard. According to the city, the northbound side of North Arthur Ashe Boulevard between West Clay Street and West Leigh Street will be closed between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Monday, Nov. 18 through Monday, Dec. 2. The road is closing so that a contractor can install a sewer lateral underneath the street. Closures will not take place on Saturday or Sunday nights. The city recommends drivers use Altamont Avenue as a detour.
