Richmond Flying Squirrels’ 2025 promotional schedule announced

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Flying Squirrels' promotional schedule for its 2025 season will include 20 fireworks shows, theme nights and a 1,000th game celebration.

On Friday, Feb. 28, the Richmond Flying Squirrels released its promotional schedule for its 2025 season, with individual-game tickets to go on sale in person at Nutzy's Block Party at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 1.

The Flying Squirrels will celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Diamond with five "The Diamond Through the Decades" nights presented by Dominion Energy.

According to the Flying Squirrels, a specialty ticket package will include all five The Diamond Through the Decades games, a ticket for the final regular-season home game on Sunday, Sept. 14, and four flex vouchers redeemable for any 2025 regular-season home game.

The Flying Squirrels will also host 25 fireworks shows and fans will have the opportunity to snag a variety of themed T-shirts, hats and choose their own house in the team's first-ever Harry Potter Night.

Fan-favorite staples will reportedly return along with new additions to the Flying Squirrels' jersey collection, with the team to sport unique on-field jerseys and pay homage to past Richmond professional baseball teams throughout the 2025 season.

Las Ardillas Voladoras will take flight again with a refreshed look and Select Fridays will feature Copa-themed giveaways and Hispanic heritage events, according to the Flying Squirrels.

The Flying Squirrels will also celebrate and recognize the people, organizations, nonprofits and movements that work to make the community a better place to live, work, and play for throughout the season, which includes a Pride Night and Disability Inclusion Day.

The 2025 Flying Squirrels promotional schedule also features a Sunday Summer Music Series where select Sunday games will feature pre-game-themed live music on stage in the Funnville Fan Zone on the main concourse at The Diamond.
