Richmond man wanted after fight put male victim in hospital
MECKLENBURG COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A Richmond man is wanted after a fight in Mecklenburg County put a male victim in the hospital Tuesday night.
At about 9:37 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 13, officers with the South Hill Police Department were called to the 900 block of Plank Road for report of a hemorrhage or laceration.
"When the 911 call was received, the dispatcher noted audible commotion in the background," police said. "Rescue personnel [EMS] remained staged until the arrival of law enforcement."
When officers arrived, they found a male victim who had a large laceration, as well as a puncture wound. It's believed these injuries are related to a physical fight.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for "advanced treatment due to the extent of his injuries," police said.

After interviewing the victim and multiple witnesses, investigators identified 44-year-old Nathaniel Stith of Richmond as a suspect in this incident.

Stith, who is pictured above, is wanted for one felony count of malicious wounding. He is still at large as of the time of reporting.
