Richmond police is looking to identify a suspect in stabbing from a few weeks ago

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – The Richmond Police Department needs help identifying a suspect in a stabbing that occurred a few weeks ago.

Around 7 p.m. on Jan. 29, Richmond Police Department responded to 6800 block of West Carnation Street for a report of a stabbing.

According to police, a 22-year-old had suffered multiple stab wounds and was asking for help. The victim was then taken to the hospital and treated for his injuries.

Police learned that the victim and suspect got into an altercation, which led to the victim being stabbed and the suspect left in unknown direction from the scene.
