Richmond SPCA giving free leashes, collars with dog adoptions during event

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- In an effort to find more fur-ever homes for the dogs in its care, the Richmond SPCA is offering an adoption special where each dog comes with a leash and collar.

From Thursday, May 1 until Thursday, May 15, the Richmond SPCA is running a "Leash On Love" adoption special.

If you adopt one of the shelter's dogs, you will also take home a PetSafe leash and collar -- which you can use to "kickstart your journey together," the Richmond SPCA said.
