Richmond’s Maymont to hold Dominion Energy Family Easter with Easter Bunny, activities, food
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Maymont in Richmond will hold an Easter event in April, with tickets to go on sale Thursday.
On Saturday, April 19, Maymont will hold its Dominion Energy Family Easter event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with activities spread across the Carriage House Lawn, Maymont Farm and The Robins Nature Center.
According to officials, the event will have games, crafts, live performances and food trucks. Families can also snap a photo with the Easter Bunny, as well as meet local heroes and their fire engines, emergency vehicles and utility trucks in the Community Zone.
According to Maymont, each admission to the event will include three activity tickets for Easter-themed games, with many activities offering the chance to earn small prizes or toys. Additional activity tickets will cost $2 each.
Advanced reservations are recommended for the event, with a choice of entry times from 9 a.m. to noon or noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Tickets for the event go on sale on Thursday, March 6, and cost $5 per person. The event is free for Maymont members and participants in the Museums For All Program.
