Chesterfield County is celebrating Rockwood Park’s 50th birthday with a commemorative ice cream flavor that’s as extra as the occasion. The county dropped the big news on Instagram, showing off a close-up of the sweet-and-salty swirl that looks straight out of an ice cream dream.

"Celebrating 50 years of Rockwood Park with Chesterfield the only way we know how...with commemorative ice cream!" the social post reads.

This isn’t your average vanilla. The anniversary flavor is a decadent mix of chocolate and caramel, with crushed pretzels and a sea salt finish.

Rockwood Park has been a local favorite since 1975, and this year, Chesterfield’s going all out.
