Science After Dark: LEGO brick-themed exhibit coming to Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Science After Dark: Everything is Awesome LEGO brick-themed exhibit will be making its way to the Science Museum of Virginia on Friday, March 14.

The event is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature hands-on STEM activities that involve architecture, minifigures, racing and more. A showing of "The LEGO Movie" will also be featured.

The Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO Bricks showcase will also be on display in the exhibit, featuring 20 skyscrapers from across the world.

All events will be over at 8 p.m.; however, if you are seeing the movie, only the Dome will remain open past that time for the movie showing.

Admission tickets for adults are $17.50, youth ages 6-12 and seniors ages 60 and older are $14.50, and $10 for preschool-aged children ages 3-5.

"The LEGO Movie" will also require a $5 add-on ticket for all guests regardless of membership status

Live astronomy shows will also be available for free in the Dome with admission with a first come, first served policy.
