Section of Seay Road to close in Goochland for pipe replacement
GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A section of Seay Road in Goochland County is set to close in August for a pipe replacement project.
Seay Road will close between Manakin Road and Shallow Well Road from 8 a.m. on Monday, August 11 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12.
Although people will still be able to access their property during the replacement, drivers are urged to use the following detour:
- Eastbound traffic -- From Seay Road (Route 626), turn right onto Manakin Road (Route 621), right onto Broad Street Road (Route 250), right onto Shallow Well Road (Route 654), right onto Seay Road (Route 626).
- Westbound traffic -- From Seay Road (Route 626) turn left onto Shallow Well Road (Route 654), left onto Broad Street Road (Route 250), left onto Manakin Road (Route 621), left onto Seay Road (Route 626).
