Segment of Fall Line Trail to open in Hanover, Henrico for public use
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A section of the Fall Line Trail (FLT) will soon be open to the public in Hanover and Henrico counties, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
The northern segment, which VDOT said will open starting Monday, July 28, stretches for around five miles from Walder Lane to Holly Hill Road in Hanover and Winfrey Road to Woodman Road in Henrico.

People will be able to use the 10-foot-wide shared-use paths while also experiencing features from the area's old Trolley Line.
Although this northern segment is opening, the section from Holly Hill Road to Winfrey Road in Hanover will stay closed until later this summer -- which includes people's access to the truss bridge crossing over the Chickahominy River.
