Several Richmond Black-owned restaurants offer pay-what-you-can specials
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Several Black-owned restaurants is offering pay-what-you-can specials this week as a way to show appreciation to the community during Black History Month.
In a Facebook post from Southside restaurant Philly Vegan, several Black-owned restaurants in Richmond will be collaborating to offer three days of pay-what-you-can specials.
According to Philly Vegan, this special occasion allows patrons to visit one of the participating restaurants during their listed dates, select an item from their pay-what-you-can menu and pay what you can afford. If you cant afford it, then you can choose an item for free.
