RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for several Central Virginia areas on Sunday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the following Central Virginia areas until 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16:

  • Middlesex County
  • Northumberland County
  • Hanover County
  • King and Queen County
  • Charles City County
  • Richmond County
  • New Kent County
  • Henrico County
  • King William County
  • Essex County
  • Lancaster County
