SPEAK UP: Which lost pieces of Richmond are gone, but not forgotten?
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- As 2025 comes to a close, let's get a little nostalgic: Which lost pieces of Richmond do you keep closest to your heart?
With New Year's approaching, many of us are looking back on memories both good and bad from the past calendar year. In the spirit of Auld Lang Syne, 8News is turning the clock back even further to reflect on Richmond's past.
Through a previous 8News poll, viewers made it clear that the easiest way to tell if someone is a native Richmonder is whether or not they remember River City places that have come and gone. After seeing a Dec. 29 post on the /rva subreddit about "gone, but not forgotten" pieces of Richmond, we decided it'd be fun and festive to dive a little deeper into that nostalgia.
