Spirit Airlines to launch new service to NY-LaGuardia from Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Spirit Airlines is launching a new nonstop service from Richmond International Airport to New York-LaGuardia on May 7, marking the airline's third destination from Richmond.

“Our Richmond Guests will soon have an affordable and convenient way to visit the Big Apple just in time for summer,” said John Kirby, Vice President of Network Planning at Spirit Airlines. “We’re excited to offer travelers a great value while connecting them to one of the world’s most vibrant destinations.”

The new route will operate four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are available now on Spirit's website.

Spirit first began serving Richmond on March 15, 2018, and now offers budget-friendly travel options. The Richmond-LaGuardia has also joined existing flights to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando.
