RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – Canadian High-Pressure will remain the dominate weather feature through early next work week, before some changes arrive middle of next week. More on that below.
Today’s forecast for this Saturday calls for mostly sunny skies, low humidity levels continuing for us and highs in the middle to upper 70s.
Tonight’s forecast will bring us mostly clear skies overnight and cool temperatures, getting down into the lower 50s.
Tomorrow’s forecast for our Sunday for the second half of this current weekend will bring us mostly sunny skies, comfortable humidity levels once again and highs around 80 degrees, as the slow and steady warming trend continues for us.
Monday brings us a partly sunny sky, the humidity levels increasing, and highs in the lower 80s.
Tuesday is when we will see some changes happening in the forecast, with the approach of our next weather system on the way, bringing us increasing clouds on Tuesday into Tuesday night, the return of beneficial rain showers by Tuesday night as well. Highs next Tuesday will be in the lower 80s, with the humidity levels continuing to increase.
Wednesday of next week will bring us beneficial scattered rain showers throughout the day, with highs near 75 degrees.
Next Thursday through Saturday, will bring us partly sunny skies and cooler temperatures back in the 70s.
TRACKING THE TROPICS – We continue to monitor the tropics with one disturbance that has a 50% formation chance in the next 7 days out in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean. Neither of these are a threat to the state of Virginia the next 7 days.
