StormTracker8: A nice weekend ahead; Cooler weather to come next week

RICHMOND, Va (WRIC) — Temperatures during the day will be seasonable in the low to mid 50s. Our skies will be mostly sunny with increasing clouds this evening.
Sunday will see partly sunny skies with highs in the mid 50s.
A cold front will be moving towards Central Virginia on Monday. This front could bring a few passing showers and will be out of the region by the afternoon. Once it passes through will see partly sunny and windy conditions. Temperatures on Monday will be the warmest we see all week nearing 65.
The cold air behind the cold front will reach us by Monday night dropping our temperatures for Tuesday morning into the upper 20s. Highs on Tuesday will be chilly in the upper 30s, nearing 40.
New Years Eve will see mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will remain below average for this time of year with highs in the low to mid 40s.
Wednesday night will have some clouds and temperatures near freezing to end 2025.
We kick off 2026 with partly sunny skies with highs in the low 40s.
Friday and Saturday next week will be chilly as high temperatures will be in the upper 30s over the first weekend of the New Year, We will see sunny to partly sunny skies.
