StormTracker8: Beautiful Start to the Week
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – It's going to be another great day, with temperatures starting out this morning in the 60s and highs only reaching the low 80s. We will have a few clouds here and there, but mostly sunny skies will be around for most of this Monday. No rain in the forecast, and low humidity means there is no concern for toasty "feels like" temperatures.
Tonight's lows will dip into the 60s again, and mostly clear skies will stick around. Tomorrow the trend will continue, with highs in the low 80s, no rain, and sunny skies.
Wednesday, we could see some isolated showers across the state. Thursday we look to have a better shot at isolated thunderstorms, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, pop up showers and storms will be possible. High temperatures are expected to remain below normal at least until the start of next week!
TRACKING THE TROPICS: We now have Tropical Storm Dexter off the coast of the U.S. It is expected to remain a tropical storm as it moves East, away from the country.
There are two other areas of potential tropical development. One off the Southeastern U.S. coast has a low chance of development, but could see gradual formation through the middle of this week. Off the coast of Africa, we have a much better chance to see our next tropical storm, but right now it is not a concern for the U.S.
