StormTracker8: Increasing clouds today, ahead of rain showers tonight
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – Don’t forget about the time change. If you forgot to adjust your clocks last night when you went to bed on Saturday night, make sure you adjust them this morning as you are heading out the door on Sunday morning for any plans you have.
Today’s forecast for this Sunday calls for seasonable temperatures this afternoon, rising into the middle to upper 60s with increasing clouds throughout the day ahead of our next weather system bringing light to moderate rain showers to Central Virginia by this upcoming Sunday night.
Tonight’s forecast brings us light to moderate rain showers overnight through Monday morning, with much milder temperatures tonight, falling back to either side of 50 degrees.
Tomorrow’s forecast for our Monday, to kick off the new work and school week, will bring us morning rain showers, ending by Noontime tomorrow, leading to afternoon sunshine and highs in the middle 60s.
Election day in Virginia is this Tuesday, and it looks good weather wise to go out and vote. We will see partly sunny skies and highs in the middle 60s.
Wednesday appears to be a breezy day across Central Virginia, under mostly sunny skies and mild afternoon temperatures, rising to near 70 degrees.
Thursday will be a nice day, under mostly sunny skies and highs near 65 degrees.
Friday and next weekend, brings us what appears to be multiple weather systems to the state of Virginia, which will bring multiple rain chances.
