Richmond, Va (WRIC) -- The very beneficial rainfall we have been seeing throughout our Sunday, will be continuing into early Monday morning. Details below.

Tonight’s forecast for this Sunday night into Monday morning, calls for mostly cloudy skies, likely rainfall through 10PM this evening, then tapering off throughout the overnight hours into Monday morning and temperatures falling back to between 35 to 40 degrees.

Through early Monday morning, we could be looking at an additional half inch to one inch of rainfall across Central Virginia.

Tomorrow’s forecast for our President’s Day Monday brings us decreasing clouds leading to partly sunny skies in the afternoon and seasonable temperatures, getting up to around 50 degrees with a bit of a breeze from time to time as well, out of a northerly direction.

Tuesday and Wednesday of this work week ahead both look very spring like, under partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies, afternoon temperatures in the 60s and dry conditions!

Thursday and Friday are expected to remain spring like, with afternoon temperatures rising to around 60 degrees, along with a scattered chance for showers throughout the day Thursday and continuing into Friday morning.

Looking ahead to the upcoming weekend, we will see scattered showers both Saturday and Sunday, with seasonable temperatures, in the lower 50s.

Finally, next Monday, will be “Cooler” with afternoon temperatures near 45 degrees under mostly sunny skies.
