StormTracker8: Milder for Tuesday & Wednesday

Richmond, Va. (WRIC) -- Clear skies will be with us for this evening and tonight and it will be a cold night with lows in the upper 20s across Metro Richmond but some outlying locations will drop back into the lower to middle 20s.

We will see sunny skies for Tuesday, and it will be a bit milder than Monday with highs near 55.

Wednesday will feature more in the way of clouds as a weather system begins to push towards Central Virginia. That system could bring us the risk of some showers later Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. It will be mild out ahead of that system with highs again in the middle 50s.

Any showers early Thursday morning will depart, and partly sunny skies will move back into the region, but it will turn chilly with highs only near 40.

Mostly sunny skies will be across Central Virginia for Friday with highs in the upper 30s.

Our next weather system will move in on Saturday giving us more clouds and the risk of a couple of showers. We will top out near 45.

That system will be slow to depart so we will see mostly cloudy skies for Sunday with highs in the lower 40s.

Looking ahead to next Monday and Tuesday we will see partly sunny skies with highs in the upper 30s.
