StormTracker8: Seasonably mild for the next two days

Richmond, Va (WRIC) -- Mainly clear skies will be with us for this evening, but a few clouds will move in during the night making it partly cloudy. Our overnight lows will fall between 20 to 25.

Partly sunny skies will be with us for Tuesday, and it will be seasonably mild with highs around 55.

Wednesday will also be another beautiful day with highs again in the middle 50s under partly sunny skies.

Slightly cooler air will slide back in for Thursday, but we will remain mostly sunny with highs in the middle 40s.

Friday will feature partly sunny skies, and it will be cool once again with highs in the lower 40s.

Looking ahead to Valentine's Day we might start off with a little bit of sunshine, but clouds will quickly increase throughout the day, and it will be cool with highs in the middle 40s.

A powerful weather system will approach the region later Saturday night and that will bring us some rain by early Sunday morning. That rain will continue steady at times throughout the day on Sunday and there is the chance for northwestern Virginia to see some mixed rain and snow as temperatures will be much cooler in that area. Our high temperatures on Sunday will top out in the middle to upper 40s.

Any lingering rain showers early Monday will give way to partly sunny skies and it will turn windy with highs near 50.

Looking ahead to next Tuesday we should see partly sunny skies with highs near 55.
