StormTracker8: Showers this evening & tonight; Sun return Wednesday

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – We will have a couple of showers around this evening, but the better chance of rain will develop around midnight tonight. We will have some steady rain after midnight into the early morning hours on Wednesday. Our overnight lows will fall into the lower 40s.

Wednesday might start off a bit cloudy but quickly become partly sunny and it will be a seasonable day with highs near 60.

Thursday will feature a mixture of clouds and sunshine to mostly cloudy skies and it will be seasonable with highs in the upper 50s.

More clouds will be with us again for Friday with the risk of showers developing in the late afternoon and evening. Our high temperatures will climb between 60 to 65.

Showers will still be scattered around for Saturday with highs in the lower 60s.

Sunday will feature mostly sunny skies with highs around 60.

Looking ahead to Monday and Tuesday we should see partly to mostly sunny skies with highs in the lower 60s.

Wednesday, which is the busiest travel day ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, we should see cloudy skies with rainy conditions across Central Virginia and most of the East coast. Our high temperatures will top out around 60.

Right now, an early call for Thanksgiving we look to see mostly cloudy skies to a mixture of sun and clouds with highs ranging from 60 to 65.
