StormTracker8: Slowly improving weather during Tuesday
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – Today will start dreary, but we won't end that way! Showers are possible through midday, then we will be under cloudy skies. Highs will be in the upper 60s. Breaks in the clouds will begin occurring late in the afternoon, and give us peeks of sun before sunset.
Overnight, skies will clear and lows will be in the low 50s. Tomorrow's highs will be in the low 70s. A weak front will drop our temperatures going into Thursday, so for Thursday and Friday highs will be in the 60s and lows will be in the 40s. Skies will be clear for the end of the week.
On Sunday, another cold front will bring more rain chances. This should bring us clear skies to begin next week.
Tracking the tropics
Tropical storm Lorenzo has winds of 60 mph and it is moving to the northwest at 15 mph. Lorenzo will not be a factor in our weather at all as it is anticipated to quickly hook back out to sea.
