StormTracker8: The big chill moves in tonight lasting through Tuesday

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – A couple of showers will be moving through Central Virginia this evening and tonight otherwise we will have mostly cloudy skies, and it will turn chilly throughout the overnight with lows in the lower to middle 40s.

We will see a mixture of clouds and sunshine for Monday, and it will be breezy and chilly with highs only around 50.

Monday evening a weak weather impulse will slide through and that might bring a couple of sprinkles and maybe for a few of you a flake of snow but don't be too excited, we're not going to be looking for any accumulation.

Our overnight lows Monday night into Tuesday morning will fall back into the middle to upper 20s and in fact there are freeze warnings in effect for all areas along and east of I-95. If you have potted plants outside, I would bring them inside or risk losing them.

Tuesday, Veteran’s Day, will feature mostly sunny skies but it will be a chilly day with highs only in the upper 40s.

Tuesday night will again be very cold with lows in the upper 20s.

Wednesday will feature plenty of sunshine but remain a touch cool for this time of year with highs in the upper 50s.

We will return to normal temperatures as we go into Thursday, Friday and Saturday with highs around 60 under sunny skies.

Looking ahead to next Sunday we should be seeing partly sunny skies with highs near 65.
