StormTracker8: Warmer Weather is Here!

Richmond, Va. (WRIC) -- Some counties Northwest have a dense fog advisory this morning. Please slow down this morning, stay alert, and use your low beam headlights. Leave early this morning to give yourself time and space.

We have a gorgeous day ahead! Highs will be in the upper 70s and we will see a good bit of sun. Skies will be partly cloudy for much of the day, though.

Tonight and tomorrow will be very nice as well. Lows tonight will be in the upper 50s and highs tomorrow in the mid 70s. There is a chance for a passing shower tomorrow, but truly very few of us are expected to see rain.

Saturday, the River City Half & 5k will have wonderful weather! Temperatures will be in the low 50s during race time.

Saturday and Sunday highs will be in the 70s. There is a possibility for some rain overnight Saturday into Sunday, and Sunday we could see isolated showers as well.

Next week, the warm trend will continue. Pop up showers will be possible the first few days of the week. At the end of next week, a strong cold front is expected to pass through. This will plunge our temperatures back to near or below normal, and bring us a high chance for rain. This will be the next weather event to keep an eye on.
