Richmond, Va (WRIC) -- Central Virginia will see two seasons in one week, details below.

Tonight’s forecast for this Sunday night into Monday morning, calls for increasing clouds leading to mostly cloudy skies, and much cooler temperatures, getting down to 30 to 35 degrees.

Tomorrow’s forecast for Monday calls for mostly cloudy skies, chilly temperatures, rising to only around 40 degrees, with a Wintry Mix of rain and wet snow in the afternoon and evening hours. Very minimal accumulation of wet snow is possible, mainly on elevated surfaces.

Tomorrow night into Tuesday morning calls for mostly cloudy skies, chilly temperatures, getting down to 30 to 35 degrees, with a Wintry Mix of rain and wet snow in the overnight hours. Very minimal accumulation of wet snow is possible, mainly on elevated surfaces.

Tuesday’s forecast calls for that morning Wintry Mix of rain and wet snow to end prior to Lunchtime Tuesday, under mostly cloudy skies and temperatures rising to around 50 degrees.

Wednesday will be a completely dry day, from start to finish, under mostly cloudy skies and warm temperatures, rising to 70 to 75 degrees, my pick day of this week ahead!

Fun fact: the last time Richmond hit at least 70 degrees was back on November 26th, 2025.

Finally, Thursday through the following Monday, all will be well above average in the overnights and in the afternoons with an isolated chance for showers every day during this stretch later in the week and the upcoming weekend.

One other important thing to note, is that we will be changing our clocks 1 hour ahead for Spring Forward next weekend, as Daylight Saving Time Starts early Sunday morning.
