Street closures, ‘No Parking’ zones to be in place in Richmond for River City Half Marathon

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Several Richmond streets will be closed and "No Parking" zones will be in effect on Saturday for the River City Half Marathon and 5K.

According to the Richmond Police Department, the following streets will be closed in Richmond on Saturday, March 8, for the Virginia Credit Union River City Half Marathon and 5K:

6 to 11 a.m.

• 2000 block of Prince Arthur Road between Evelyn Byrd Road and Riverside Drive

4 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• 7100 to 8500 block of Riverside Drive between Scottview Drive and Southampton Road

7 to 10 a.m.

• 3400 block of Bluff Drive between Riverside / Scottview Drive and Warner Road
• 3300 to 3400 block of Warner Road between Longview Drive and Bluff Drive
• 6800 block of Longview Drive between Warner Road and Wallowa Road
• 6600 to 6700 block of Wallowa Road between Longview Drive and Windsorview Drive
• 2800 to 3000 block of Windsorview Drive between Forest Hill Avenue and Wallowa Road

7 to 11 a.m.

• 5900 to 6700 block of Forest Hill Avenue between Pineway Drive and Hathaway Road
• 5900 block of Fairlee Road between Forest Hill Avenue and Pineway Drive
• 2400 block of Pineway Drive between Fairlee Road and Riverside Drive
• 5500 to 5700 block of Riverside Drive between New Kent Road and Fairlee Road
• 5400 block of New Kent Road between Riverside and Riverside Drive
